We collect only what we need to fill your orders and look after your account, and we never sell your personal information.
What we collect
Details you give us: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number, account password (stored only as a secure hash), orders, messages and any application you send.
Payment details are entered on our payment processor's secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical details from your visits: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the site that referred you, collected through cookies, similar browser storage and our server logs. We measure traffic ourselves and do not use third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
Health information
Belle Vie Market is a store, not a healthcare provider, and what you share with us is not a medical record. We don't ask for health details to place an order, and we ask that you not send them to us by email or through the contact form.
What you order can say something personal about you or your family. We keep order details private and use them only to fill orders, look after your account and meet legal obligations.
How we use it
To process and ship orders, run your account, Rewards and subscriptions, answer messages, protect against fraud and meet legal obligations.
To send order, shipping and subscription emails, and marketing emails if you opt in. If you leave items in your bag after giving us your email, we may send up to three reminders about them. Every marketing and reminder email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the store, such as our payment processor, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, and our email and hosting providers. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
Authorities when the law requires it, and a buyer if the business is ever sold. We do not sell or rent your personal information or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your bag and preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site, such as checkout, may stop working.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require, and other information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your details in your account and unsubscribe from marketing at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information. If the laws of your state give you additional privacy rights, we honor them.

Children
The store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
